My Mom

Who can say their mother is their best friend? Of course we have our battles, don’t see eye to eye, but she has always believed in me.

When I was growing up I was stubborn, may that came from her? We would bump heads all the time, but we would not be where we are today, if it wasn’t for those times.

My mom is an inspiration. She has showed me that you can come a long way, if you put your mind to it, you can bust down doors to find your path in this world, tear down walls to reach your goals, to stand tall in what you believe in, and hide your emotions to show self-control.

She has raised me (mostly all by herself). She was there to snuggle on the couch, drink coffee on the weekend mornings, fix homemade meals, goes to Six Flags and showed everyone she could still be a kid again.

Till this day when we are together, it is filled with laughter, and smiles. Every time we are together it is a happy occasion.

She was and still is the best mom, ever. I was there to hold my mom through the tough times, just like she was there for me when I needed her.

However, during some storms that came through us both buckled under the force, we went our separate ways, but we had to learn how to face the battle and deal with our emotions separately. This strengthened me to become the woman I am today. We all make mistakes, but she will always be my best friend and my mom.

I hope my little girl gets older to appreciate, love, and be my best friend.

I love you mom; you are the best.

Thank You

Top 5 Things I love about my mom:

1)  Drawings
2)  Smart; even when she has ADD moments (she really doesn’t have ADD)
3)  Happy
4)  Independent
5)  Funny; even her 10pm happiness makes me laugh (most people don’t know this side)

    Gotta love her … she’s a great mom! 🙂

  2. Moms are a blessing. If it wasn’t for them, we wouldn’t be here. As our kids get older we get to understand why our Moms have done and said what they have. It is tough being a Mom. Watching our babies stumble as they take there first steps is so hard, but through our babies life, we have to continue to watch them stumble because that is what helps them learn.

    • So true. I never knew as a mom how hard it will be, but you live and learn everyday. You pick your battles with your little ones, and try to encourage them to do the right thing. I love being a mom and wouldn’t change it for the world, but there is sometimes i wanna go hide in the dark and come back later, loool Which I am sure most stay at home moms feel that way 😀
