Swept Away

Google Image 30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 09 – Someone you didn’t want to let go, but just drifted
I would say all my friends I use to hang with.

  • A girl that I once hung out with all the time. We would start out on Friday nights partying, hanging out, races, etc. We were really close, and I miss that.
  • A girl would I would hang out with when we was growing up. Due to kids, and her not living close, we have lost each other. She always knew how to make me smile. We still talk on FB but it isn’t the same.
  • Lots of others, girls and guys, but I guess everyone takes their own path and continue on with their life in this big wide world.

  1. Yeah, it’s a pity when we drift away from people who were so much fun… life took them elsewhere and we stayed put. I have a few friends like that who move to other countries. We chat but it’s not the same anymore. 🙂

    • Yeah, they was in our lives for a reason, when we needed them, or their support. People come and go, change, or stay the same. Just part of life I guess.

  2. Life can be tough when people drift away. We spend our childhood having people with us year after year (especially if you never moved like me). This continues through highschool, maybe even college if you are lucky. then BAM! you’re in the real world. Friends move away, get married, have kids… and before you know it, you haven’t spoken in years.

    • Yeah, life can be tough, but then other people come into your life or family and make everything worth while. I just miss my friends, but it would help if I had a car when hubby was working 😛
