1. Do you prefer your ice cream in a bowl or in a cone?
In a cup, please, then bring me the cone!
2. What three things do you love the smell of?
– Laundry Detergent while in the dryer. The fragrance lingers through the air. Love it!
– The smell of Rain, which by the way we had 3 days of.
– Coffee brewing, or a coffee candle.. YUM
3. Gift-cards or no? (In regards of Gift giving…)
Personally. I like Gift cards. You can then buy what you want, and you don’t have to worry about getting something twice, or something you really didn’t need. I think Gift-cards is a great idea. People say that they don’t think it is the “right” thing to do, but what is “right” any more? This is a new day in age and I think we need to pick up our feet and move with it.
On another hand, I wouldn’t give gift cards all the time. I think Birthdays should be special, this is the time for that person and to show you are thinking about them on this precious day. Christmas, why not? Hand out Gift cards for the older crowd, or parents and buy toys for the children.
4.What sports did you play in high school if any and do you still play them?
Well, if playing a Clarinet is a sport then that’s what I did in high school. Do I still play them? Are you kidding me? lol!! Oh, well nooo. 6 or 7 years was enough of playing for me.
5. Were you in a band in high school? What instrument did you play?
Ha! I totally answered that in #4… I guess I get a cookie for predicting the future? (and no I really didn’t know what question #5 was before I answered #4. I answer one question at a time.. probably another thing I can add to my OCD collection.
What would your answers be? I hope your Friday is going great! I miss you guys, and I am trying to get back posting, slowly. Hugs and warm thoughts to you all.

/ October 21, 2011Cones are too messy. They are fun when you are a kid, but then its just annoying. lol
I love the smells of coffee and rain! I’m not a huge fan of Arizona, but there is something special about the desert rain. The smell is totally different than anywhere else in the world! I live in the outskirts of town, so we are surrounded by the desert. When it rains, it smells heavenly!

Miss chatting with you!

Clarinet woohoo!! š Love your answers. Oh, Honeysuckles smell so sweet, I use to love walking to my grandfathers because I would smell them.

/ October 15, 20111. I, too, like it in a cpu with the cone on hand!
2.a. My son’s hair
2.b. Beeswax
2.c. Coffee–I love wandering down the coffee aisle and smelling the different coffees! (I like it much more than the flavor, actually)
3. All for ’em. Gone is buying the wrong present for a person; instead, you get to be a little part of their finding exactly what they need, instead of something perhaps better suited the giver than the recipient. I do like buying specific presents I see for friends and know they’ll love throughout the year, but I go gift cards for events if I remember the birthday timely enough. *cough*
4. Nada!
5. Nope. My siblings all learned an instrument early, which made me jealous back in the day. I was especially jealous of my brother, who was “learning” the cello. I wanted to play the cello like mad, yet my brother just made random sounds on it to make my mom think he was practicing!
Looking forward to more posts as you’re able!

I totally forgot Beeswax, how could I forget š Another coffee girl! I am so glad I’m not the only one. Awesome answers Deb! I will be posting more soon. I don’t know what I done to my neck, but I can only sit at the computer for about 30mins before it starts hurting again.

/ October 14, 2011What a cool pic, and such a neat way to give a gift card for Christmas! And, I’m with you. Better to give them a gift card, than to buy them something they don’t like, or already have.
If you want to know what my answers are, you can go to my blog and check them out. I linked up too š Have a great weekend!

Thank you so much for stopping by to read mine and comment. I love that idea for the gift card. You could also do it so it is more personal for them.
