I like to hear other people’s ideas/thoughts. I will do this daily and want to stay focused. Please join in if you want to, but remember to bear with me and to be gentle because I will be posting my own thoughts and my own opinions. I am not here to debate God’s word, or have an argument over His word.
A lot of us come from families who are dysfunctional, right!? But it really does not matter what family you come from, whether your mom/dad were rich, or poor, whether their attitudes were great or selfish. They made you by DNA, but God molded you to what you are today.
Isaiah 44:2a (CEV)
I am your Creator. You were in my care even before you were born.
Psalm 138:8 (NKJV)
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.
Psalm 139:15-16 (NKJV)
My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.
Acts 17:26 (NKJV)
And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings
Ephesians 1:4-8 (NKJV)
just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
James 1:18 (NKJV)
Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of His creatures.
Isaiah 45:18 (NKJV)
For thus says the Lord, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: “I am the Lord, and there is no other.”
1 John 4:8 (NKJV)
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Isaiah 46:3-4 (NKJV)
“Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of the house of Israel, Who have been upheld by Me from birth, Who have been carried from the womb: 4 Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.”
You are who you are for a reason.
You’re part of an intricate plan.
You’re a precious and perfect unique design,
Called God’s special woman or man.
You look like you look for a reason.
Our God made no mistake.
He knit you together within the womb.
You’re just what He wanted to make.
The parents you had were the ones He chose,
And no matter how you may feel,
They were custom-designed with God’s plan in mind,
And they bear the Master’s seal.
No, that trauma you faced was not easy.
And God wept that it hurt you so;
But it was allowed to shape your heart
So that into His likeness you’d grow.
You are who you are for a reason,
You’ve been formed by the Master’s rod.
You are who you are, beloved,
Because there is a God!

Point to Ponder: I am not an accident
Verse to Remember: I am your Creator. You were in my care even before you were born.
Question to Consider: I know that God uniquely created me. What areas of my personality, background, and physical appearance am I struggling to accept?
I struggle with my weight. I don’t feel as pretty as I did, I don’t feel as strong. I often close off the world because I don’t feel important. I feel as though I am not good enough. I often play hard ball and put on a front when really I am screaming inside. I feel trapped in my own body. I feel as though I can talk until I am blue in the face and never be heard at all. I don’t feel like this all the time, but I do have my moments. I am real with my emotions.
God, I come to you today to give you the stuff I struggle with. I am sorry for struggling with something you made so perfectly. I know you will use it, just let me know how. I love you and I promise to be better with them and get going with Your Life for me. Amen.

/ June 2, 2012The first thing .. I think I like your post. ..OK. When you talk about religion are very brave because it is a very complicated issue .. I mean it’s difficult to expose the subject in public. I will not say any more. Only I like your post.

/ June 3, 2012Thank you Rafa. I don’t look at it as being brave. My blog is basically like my journal. A place where I can write my thoughts and clear my mind 🙂 and if people wanna read it then it makes me feel good. I hope that makes sense.
