Sending Love

30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 30 – A letter to yourself, tell yourself EVERYTHING you love about yourself

Wow, didn’t we do a post that says “What I love about myself?”

So, I will end on this note.

This has been an amazing 30 days. From growing blogging friends, to letting go of things that no longer matter to me. I got through this challenge and I will keep conquering more as I head on through the days.

I hope all my readers have came to realize who I am, and learned more about the person behind the blog. I have loved every minute of getting to know the ones who have stepped in to do the challenge with me, and for that I thank every one of you! :)I also thank everyone who has subscribed, and have left comments. I cherish each comment that comes through 🙂 (Well except the ones that want me to look at porn sites, or think that my addicting post is about games, and they think it is a way cool post, haha)

Six Word Saturday

Yikes, my list keeps getting bigger.

So, I have this DIY list that just keeps adding up, and I will get around to do every one of them! I just have to get all my supplies together to do it.

1) The purse – Redneck Princess taught us how she did it. Well, I just have to pick out an old T-shirt and that is just hard, lol!!! jkk I just need to kick myself and get it done! and of course, make Jade one too!!

2) I am wanting to paint my Entertainment Center, End Table, Bookcase and Coffee table a flat (mate) black, but I am scared it will peel off. I don’t know a lot about painting, so you have to start somewhere. I want to paint them black and get silver knobs 🙂 It will really bring out a lot of things including the black picture frames I already have hanging up in the house.
First, I know I will have to sand them down, then work on what paint to use. Any ideas??

3) Sanding Jades dresser down from fire engine red, and begin painting it white 🙂 Along with her bed, so they both will match.

4) Finding a picture frame/picture to make a chalk board.. I want a crackle dark red paint as the frame to bring out the dark red in most of my pictures throughout the house. (I just need to stop being picky)

5) Making or buying a black and white picture to go over our bed in the bedroom. Getting random black and white pictures to match but smaller to go on other walls in the same room.

6) Getting my flower beds done, and buying more bark. Oh, and of course more flowers, you can’t have too many 🙂

7) Building a circle where my hosta was, so we can pour cement. We are moving our table and chair down there.

8) Making Coasters 😮 with Tile and Cardstock 🙂

Five Question Friday

(Click on the Image above to start Five Question Friday with us!! Link us up)
1. Vow renewal ceremonies-yay or nay?
I have to say why not? I think a vow renewal is a great way to show your dedication, especially if that couple has been through a rough road, and overcome battles of health, or life. I think it would be a great idea 🙂 So, YAY!

2. What sound/s annoy you the most?
This reminds me of my Pet Peeves post, haha!
Squeaky wheels on a buggy/shopping cart
Silverware on a plate… aggghh!!!
Someone blowing their nose, and you can hear the stuff coming out… eww GAG
The sound of “Mommy, Mommy, Mommy, I HAVE TO GO PEE!!” – Sigh, Just go!

3. If you had to pick, would you have only all boys, or only all girls for kids?

Had to pick!? Why can’t we just have both? 🙂

4. Do you believe in alternative medicine?

I believe in any type of medicine that will help someone.

5. Would you take a family member’s children and raise them if they needed it?
Depends. Are these children that are under the age of 12? I wouldn’t want to raise 12 or over kids that are “troubled” kids. Maybe if they lost their parent, then yeah, but just because something happened and the parents didn’t want them, then no. A.K.A I wouldn’t want obnoxious kids.
On the other hand if the kids were behaved and didn’t think the whole world should just give them whatever, then yeah 🙂

This week I am THANKFUL for…

  • My friend Debbie for lending me the new Janet book! Smokin’ Seventeen will be on my next thing to read!
  • Church – Jade even enjoyed it and that is always a plus!
  • Doctors – For giving them enough knowledge to know when something is wrong
  • Motivation – not just myself but the motivation from friends
  • For the Dark Sensation Hot Chocolate
  • Pain – If I didn’t have pain, then I would be where I always was. Since there is pain, then I know I am changing.
  • Today – Today is another day God has given me to make a change, to change myself, or even change my ways 🙂

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

It’s the Best Things!!

Day 27 – What’s the best thing going for you right now?

I have a family who accepts all my ways, even my weird moments,  or my “doh” moments that I have (I even have those on here, haha). That is a blessing in itself to have your family beside you.

I am enjoying myself!! I am loosing weight, reaching out to friends, doing things that make ME happy. It sucks being at home all the time, but I have got to find ways to make myself happy during those times or you will go crazy. I have taught myself to be busy 🙂 Which is a good thing, but not so good if it is above 90 degrees outside haha!

Another great thing right now is the fact that my husband is going to school to further himself at work. I think it is so great, and he is truly amazing. His first time at school, and after his first quarter he made it on the Presidents List at school!!! How great is that!?

Also, Jade is starting to point out letters when we are in public. She gets so excited!! I am so glad she is wanting to learn now, and she is doing so well. It really makes me proud!

Do you have any best things happening right now for you?

~Note~ Sorry I haven’t been commenting a lot. Been going back and forth with doctors and had test run 😛 But I am okay just taking it easy. I had a tetanus shot in my arm and boy my arm hurts!!! This is going on 2 days and I dont want to move it too much (It feels as though my whole muscle is bruised). Well anyway, I am around, just not doing as much at the moment. Also, if I have forgot to link you up to 30 Days of Truth, please let me know 😛

Saving Myself

Google Image 30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 26 – Have you ever thought about giving up on life? If so, when and why?

Wow, can the questions get any harder? Like really?

I have thought about giving up on my life when I was growing up.
Going through emotions, bullies, rape, molestation, and other things…
I dealt with the pain by myself. I was mostly depressed but tried to hide it behind my smiling face. I went to school, sometimes numb. Talking is what helped me, but others would tell me to keep my mouth shut about what was going in my life, because it wasn’t just my life I was talking about. It involved people that should be there to protect themselves, but at this point, it was me that need saving, and not the people “involved”. Well, on other hands, that girl got a piece of my mind, and we really don’t talk now.. hmm who would have thought that?
I wont tell “how” if I did or didn’t try to do anything to get me out of this world. Everyone thinks I tell all, but I don’t. There is a lot to me that a  lot of people don’t know, because I rather them see me happy, and remember me always smiling, then someone who was sad, depressed, or confused.

Now, however, I am happy now. It took me 7 years to get here, and a lot of support from my husband, which we too have had our times, but I stuck by him. I never gave up, I kept my love for him, and I am still sticking by today 🙂 I am not the same girl I was 7-10 years ago. I am a better me and a person who doesn’t just “deal” with it. I have found myself, and I have figured out that if you don’t like something change it. Now I am on God’s hands, and that is what matters.

People need to realize in this world, that they can not walk around thinking it is all about them. What you say to someone today, they might remember that forever.
The Things I Tell Myself:
“God has a path, and a plan for you. You may not know that plan, or path now. It could be that God wants you to be by your friends side through a tragic event, or it could be that God wanted you to hug your friend, because she is fighting a battle inside herself. You may not know what it is that you may be doing, but just know for everything you do there is purpose.”
“Be there for someone, even if they are not there for you, because they might be helping someone else, and it may not be their time to help you, but to help someone else.”

Songs, for My Little Girl

Day 24 – Make a playlist to someone, and explain why you chose all the songs. (Just post the titles and artists and letter)

Dear Jade:
I want you to know how much I love you. May the rest of your days be filled with joy and happiness. These songs have the deepest meanings for me, and so I want you to hear them. You may be too young to understand their meanings now, but I see you growing up so quickly now a days, I know it would be long before you can understand them. I love you Jade. Thank you for being such a miracle baby, giving me peace and comfort and loving me. Thank you for giving me those random kisses and hugs, and the shout out ‘I love you’ as you walk away from me. You have completed my heart in a lot of ways, and for that I am forever grateful and loved.
I love you Jade
Your Mom

For I will be with you, even if I am not beside you every day. I will hang on to you when you need me, I will be here to give you strength when you are weak. I will be your hero, if you just keep looking up at me.
In My Daughter’s Eyes – Martina McBride

I never want to see you cry, you will always be my sweet child o’ mine 🙂
Sweet Child O’ Mine – Guns N’ Roses

No one has to make me believe in heaven. All I have to do is look at my daughter and I believe. You are truly a miracle, and such a blessing! You make me laugh everyday, you dance around the living room and sing a long to the TV. You have brighten my life so much!
Live – Heaven

I will make mistakes, but I will always tell you I am sorry. Just believe in me, when I tell you I am sorry. I will fall, I will slip, I am human, just like you. I will always be your mom, you can’t trade me in, but just know when I do something wrong, I am sorry… Just believe in me!
Daughtry – Sorry

Just know I sang this to you every night when we brought you home from the hospital. It was after Christmas, but you would go right to sleep when I was rocking you. I still to this day sing this to you when you wake up in the middle of the night and don’t want to go to sleep.
David Archuleta – Silent Night

Six Word Saturday

Sunday, is just one day away!

I am on track with my weight-loss, I am finding my motivation! My clothes are clean, dishes are done, kitchen is swept and mopped, now it is time to wait till tomorrow. Relaxation, it is good to see you!

Tomorrow, Jade and I are heading out with Lisa, visiting her church and then laying out in the out sun, soaking up some Vitamin D and listening to the kids play in the background. She knows just when I need a little girl time 🙂 😉

I hope your weekend is going good!! Happy Saturday to everyone!

Here to the ‘What Ifs’

Day 23
– Something you wish you had done in your life

  1. Bought a house before I got married (sometimes life just bites you in the bum)
  2. Finished school before having a child (Even though I love her)
  3. Went on an adventure before settling down (traveling)
  4. Got pictures took of me and my Mawmaw before she passed away
  5. Got closer to my family, like I was when I was a kid
  6. Worked-out more

We all live and learn, and step out into the big wide world. We can all wish on the “what Ifs” but reality is, you can never change your past. I am sure if we could, most of us wouldn’t. If we changed our pass we wouldn’t be the person we are today. Today we are stronger, and we have been through a lot of things, but those things taught us the values in life. So, here to my wishes, but hello to my future. Only you can make anything possible, and never second guess what you are capable of doing!
