Sending Love

30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 30 – A letter to yourself, tell yourself EVERYTHING you love about yourself

Wow, didn’t we do a post that says “What I love about myself?”

So, I will end on this note.

This has been an amazing 30 days. From growing blogging friends, to letting go of things that no longer matter to me. I got through this challenge and I will keep conquering more as I head on through the days.

I hope all my readers have came to realize who I am, and learned more about the person behind the blog. I have loved every minute of getting to know the ones who have stepped in to do the challenge with me, and for that I thank every one of you! :)I also thank everyone who has subscribed, and have left comments. I cherish each comment that comes through 🙂 (Well except the ones that want me to look at porn sites, or think that my addicting post is about games, and they think it is a way cool post, haha)

Gay Marriage

Google Image 30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 18 – Your views on gay marriage
My personal thoughts would be “God didn’t create Adam and Adam, or Eve and Eve… he created a man and woman” but then if I quote the bible and start pointing fingers about what is right, then I am judging them. Which is wrong, right?

With having friends who are gay, lesbian, straight… this is how I feel, and I will not to “judge” anymore. So, please continue reading.

I believe if you love someone, or like someone, then you should go with what your heart tells you. Who said this world has to be all straight people? and if you walk by someone and you are holding hands with your partner, then simply smile and continue walking. Life is about opportunity and loving yourself for who you are. If that is who you are then OWN it!

People also often say that “gays” shouldn’t have kids because it is not natural, but hello… is it natural for someone to take medicine to “help” their chances to get pregnant? Is someone suppose to live without a child because they can’t get pregnant “naturally”?
Also, have you seen how many kids are in foster care? Have you seen how many kids are going with out, because I bet it is the same people who wants to keep them in foster care, that believe that they are not to have a home, that adopting foster kids is not natural?
Or, another idea that came to my mind, is it natural for a C-section? What exactly is “natural” in your book?

A marriage is a marriage, right? 🙂 I believe that we all need to be happy on this world, and do what makes you happy.

I am married, and if anyone would like to be married to someone they love then I don’t think we should hold them back on it.

Freedom – Do you thing, and I will do mine 😉

Changed My Views

Google Image 30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 17 – A book you’ve read that changed your views on something

Lurlene McDaniel
Not just one book has changed my views, but I have read almost all of them.

When my Mawmaw got diagnosed with cancer I spent much of time reading stories of people with cancer. I wanted to understand what she was going through. I wanted to be there for her just like the people in the book was there for their loved one.
One book I read was talking about a football player who had cancer. His girlfriend planted flowers on the football field, and she waited till spring to show them to him, when they bloomed.
That has stuck with me. It showed me that you need to live everyday like it is your last. If your family member has cancer, you need to reach out to them and give them hope for something. Do something for them, rather it is planting flowers, or taking them out somewhere. Do something for them, that they don’t know you are doing it or planning it. Show them you love them, but not telling them, but by showing.

Have you read a book that changed your views? or somehow touched you?

Day 16: Something or Someone you can live without.
Something I can live without or someone…

My something’s…
Drama: who needs it? Drama definitely doesn’t make my life better, and it sure as heck doesn’t make my life easier.
Sofa Drinks: high in sugar, and can cause you to be sick or worse if you already are.
Body Odor: When we sweat, how come we can’t smell good from the get go? Who likes the smell of rotten sweat? Ha-ha!
A well: as long as we have city/county water. Due to yesterday being a bad day, lightning hitting a tree (which caused our power to go out, 6 hours later they fix it), our telephone line (which is our DSL line) got snatched off the pole by the boom truck (which was the truck who fixed our power), and our well took all day to prime.

Someone I could live without…
This has to be one of the hardest questions, to say the least. Yes, it might say one or the other, but I think it is more of challenge to answer both, which always try to go the next mile.

I think I would have to say our president, at this point. I don’t really know whose side to be on, but I do see why a lot of people don’t like our president, but then again I don’t know enough about politics.

So, someone else I could live without…
I truly don’t know anyone I could live without. I have already removed most of the people who no longer need to “live” with me, within me, or in my brain. If I think I can do without them, then I just simply “delete” them from my life anyway.

If you could name something and someone you can live without, what or who would it be?

Can’t Live Without

Google Image30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 15 – Something or someone you couldn’t live without, because you’ve tried living without it.
Ok, so I have been thinking and here is some of things I couldn’t live without:
Phone, Internet, Music, Happiness, Friends
I know the prompt was “something/someone” but I am changing it up to fit me. I couldn’t live without my phone, because how else am I going to reach out to people now-a-days. I call friends and family on a regular basis, or try to at least.
I couldn’t live without the Internet, because it gives me a way to vent out my frustrations, gives me connections to people all around the world, and gives me “virtual friends” who I may never meet.
Music, because it feels the void in my heart when I listen to a song. Music is my let-go point. It is something I can relate to. It can bring me from my darkest days, to add to one of my happiest days. I enjoy my music a lot, which if you have been following me, you would have noticed through my 30 day Music Challenge.
Happiness. I don’t think anyone in this world could live without happiness, do you? I love to see my friends and family happy. I love to see people smiling and laughing. It is part of my nature to extend my happiness to someone, if need be. Sometimes my words don’t come across like they should, and different people read me differently. I will tell you that I will never talk “down” to you. I am usually sarcastic, in a good way, to make you smile, or laugh.

Someone I couldn’t live without, uhm, there is a few that could fit here. My friends, they know who they are (Justin, Ryan, Lisa, Lauren, Crystal, Mom, and all my best friends out there). There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about them. I have went days, or months before without talking to some of these, and I wasn’t myself without them. They know just what to say to bring my hopes up, and they know exactly when to call when I need someone, just as I would do for them. Friends are what makes us today, if we didn’t have friends, the only thing we would have would be ourselves.(I would have said Hubby and Jade, but well I have never really lived without them since they entered my life)

What is it that you couldn’t live without, because you tried living without it?

Day 14 – A hero that has let you down. (letter)

Hero–noun, plural -roes; for 5 also -ros.
1.a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities.
2.a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal: He was a local hero when he saved the drowning child.
3.the principal male character in a story, play, film, etc.

Dear Spiderman,

I would like to say thanks for all your hard work, and teaching little kids all over the world to flip their wrist and spiderweb people. It has been fantastic to get sprayed with silly string on Halloween.
Also, now when I look up to my heroes, I expect all of them to hang upside on the side of the building and send me a little smooch, too bad you have let me down in this department, because well quite frankly you got my hopes up and just blew it for my expectations of other heroes.
I hate to say it Spiderman, but it seems I have to take you off my list of heroes and find someone else who is ~coughs~ better about being a hero.
Yeah, yeah, you save lives, you swing from buildings, your silly string is quite strong, and you make your body look totally fantastic. I am now cutting ties, maybe superman can help me out 😉 who knows, right?
So, thanks again for letting me down, now my hopes and dreams are just are just crumbling before me.
Toodles
~Jenna

It’s Not The Time To Breakdown

Google Image 30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 13 – A band or artist that has gotten you through some tough days. (write a letter.)

I usually don’t have 1 band/artist I like, but however I will write to Daughtry.

Dear Daughtry,
I would like to thank you for helping me through the past year. When I purchased your CD, I was ecstatic! I couldn’t wait to get it in the player so I could jam out to it. Your music, to me, is inspiring, your words are touching, and your voice well, is hot, I mean, your voice goes over well, haha!
So, back on track. I am writing to tell you thank you, really. When I heard the song “Breakdown” I knew then, I needed to change my life. So, I did. I sit here a different person than I was a year ago. Listening to “Breakdown” helped me so much with my marriage. I knew I couldn’t breakdown again.
When the song started about “Open up the book you beat me with again” – I thought about someone beating the bible into me. (Which I needed it). I sat down for days reading things over and over in my Xtreme bible.
Next lyric of “read it off one sentence at a time” – I did, I read it to myself, out loud, one sentence at a time.
I am tired of all the lines, convictions, and your lies. What right do you have to point at me.” – I felt as though, I was lying to myself, and I was pointing at myself. I was telling myself that I didn’t need to open up, or talk about my feelings, or what I was thinking. I was covering up all my walls, and building them higher, but never really understood why.
Anyway, the whole song as made me a better person. A person who now tells it like it is, a person who no longer peeks through a window. I am now keeping my love together.
Keep rocking guys. You are changing the people who listen to your music, and sending different messages to each listener. One song may mean something to you but someone else might view the song totally different. Continue being different, and I will continue listening.
Thanks again!
~Jenna

Day 12 – Something you never get compliments on

I found this image on Google, and I have to agree. Why do I care when you don’t. If you don’t want to give me a compliment, then who cares!?

I guess I can name some things I never get complimented on..
my nose, height, complexion, my legs, arms, fingers, toes, and etc. 🙂 Why would anyone want to compliment on that though? If someone was to say, “I really like your nose.” I would feel as though something was wrong with my nose. Usually people compliment on what they see, right?

An occasional compliment is necessary to keep up one’s self-respect, maybe I need more self-respect.” -haha!

Delete You

Google Image 30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!? 10 days down, 20 to go!

Day 10 – Someone you need to let go, or wish you didn’t know
As the years have added onto me I have become a different person. I am no longer a push-over and I end things the way I see it needs to be ended.
I love how some people act like that are your friends on Facebook, but when you reply to something they say and they never reply back, but reply to the person under you, than yeah it is time for the “delete” button, and please at the next event I see you, please don’t come talk to me like you have been my friend forever.
I think throughout the years I have become “me”. I stand my ground, I walk away from people who hurt me, I close off my feelings, I have found my “straight” face, and I can hide my emotions easily.
So, at this point if I need to let go of someone, I just do it. I usually don’t explain why, or try to talk to you about it, I just simply erase you from my life.
