People Watching

We pulled into the gas station. Hubby parked so he can pump gas on the left side, and that way he can just walk straight in the door and pay. I usually people watch while at a gas station. Well, this time there was actually something to watch, haha.
While Hubby went inside I noticed this guy walking in circles in the parking lot, maybe more like figure 8s combined with circles. He was puffing on a cigarette and keeping his head low. He wore a gray and white stripped shirt with gray cargo shorts with flip-flops. His hair was all shagged out, looked as though he hadn’t washed in a few days, and never brushed it, but who knows.
He continued to walk around, the same pattern, then the lady beside me stopped pumping her gas, she climbed in her SUV and flashed her lights at the guy. The guy then stopped walking his pattern and walked straight to the side of the building (the side of the store with no door). The lady pulls into the parking spot, which took her about 5 minutes to pull into. She pulled her SUV inch by inch to get into that parking place, finally when she was satisfied she parks it.
The lady gets out of her vehicle about 2-3 times before she finally just decides to turn her car off and get out for good. The guy approached her when she walked to the side of the building. He was still keeping his head low and pacing.
After they talked the lady leans against the corner of the building and lights her cigarette. The lady had a scarf around her neck, dark big sunglasses, and her pulled up into a pony tail. Now, it is almost 10 o’clock at night. Strange much? Even with the big sunglasses you can tell she is keeping an eye on the guy, who is now back doing his patterns in the parking lot. You can tell she is watching him because her head moves everywhere he goes, haha.
The guy finally stops behind a car and puts out his cigarette. The car beside him is pulling out, he is in between the car pulling out and the car that is parked. The guy backing out probably didn’t even see the guy standing there. The guy finally moved an inch away from the tires before they got run over.
After the car left the guy went into the store and out of the store about 3 times before we starting leaving.
Hubby gets into the car and says, “Don’t you find him suspicious?”
I simply said, “yeah, well, duh.”
Hubby, “kinda weird for the lady to be wearing black sunglasses in the pitch dark.”
Me, “Well, yeah, but who knows.”
Meanwhile, Hubby continues watching them as we leave.

Do you ever people watch while you are out?

Just Thinking A Little

I have wrote 200 things that I thought about, followed, challenges, and just regular ideas. I didn’t realize I have wrote so much, haha.

You guys are what make this blogging experience worth it!

Living Room Makeover

Living Room Makeover – One piece of furniture at a time 🙂

When I was getting into this, well, when I was thinking about it…
I didn’t think about the heat, nor the time haha!!

I did decide not a flat black, but a semi-gloss black. That way the semi-gloss adds as protection, but the wood still looks nice and not like plastic 🙂

It took me about 3 to 4 hours to do this, and I didn’t even need to sand it. The only reason why it took so long was 90 degree heat + no shade = your insides are melting or cooking away, either one lol!

So, here is my completion, and next time it will be the coffee table. I hope all of you have had a wonderful weekend, but unfortunately the weekend has came to an end, and now our week begins. To me; it is just another day to be smiling about. Have a wonderful Monday my friends.

3-4 hours of work, drowning in sweat and heat.. I think someone should kiss the painter 🙂 (Which, on another hand, Hubby did help me)
~Thank You Hubby~

Thankful Thursday

Now comes the rest of the fun…
click the image (above) and spread the word. Invite your friends, neighbors..to join!

This week I am THANKFUL for…

  • My friend Debbie for lending me the new Janet book! Smokin’ Seventeen will be on my next thing to read!
  • Church – Jade even enjoyed it and that is always a plus!
  • Doctors – For giving them enough knowledge to know when something is wrong
  • Motivation – not just myself but the motivation from friends
  • For the Dark Sensation Hot Chocolate
  • Pain – If I didn’t have pain, then I would be where I always was. Since there is pain, then I know I am changing.
  • Today – Today is another day God has given me to make a change, to change myself, or even change my ways 🙂

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
– Philippians 4:4-7

It’s the Best Things!!

Google Image30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 27 – What’s the best thing going for you right now?

I have a family who accepts all my ways, even my weird moments,  or my “doh” moments that I have (I even have those on here, haha). That is a blessing in itself to have your family beside you.

I am enjoying myself!! I am loosing weight, reaching out to friends, doing things that make ME happy. It sucks being at home all the time, but I have got to find ways to make myself happy during those times or you will go crazy. I have taught myself to be busy 🙂 Which is a good thing, but not so good if it is above 90 degrees outside haha!

Another great thing right now is the fact that my husband is going to school to further himself at work. I think it is so great, and he is truly amazing. His first time at school, and after his first quarter he made it on the Presidents List at school!!! How great is that!?

Also, Jade is starting to point out letters when we are in public. She gets so excited!! I am so glad she is wanting to learn now, and she is doing so well. It really makes me proud!

Do you have any best things happening right now for you?

~Note~ Sorry I haven’t been commenting a lot. Been going back and forth with doctors and had test run 😛 But I am okay just taking it easy. I had a tetanus shot in my arm and boy my arm hurts!!! This is going on 2 days and I dont want to move it too much (It feels as though my whole muscle is bruised). Well anyway, I am around, just not doing as much at the moment. Also, if I have forgot to link you up to 30 Days of Truth, please let me know 😛

Here to the ‘What Ifs’

Day 23
– Something you wish you had done in your life

  1. Bought a house before I got married (sometimes life just bites you in the bum)
  2. Finished school before having a child (Even though I love her)
  3. Went on an adventure before settling down (traveling)
  4. Got pictures took of me and my Mawmaw before she passed away
  5. Got closer to my family, like I was when I was a kid
  6. Worked-out more

We all live and learn, and step out into the big wide world. We can all wish on the “what Ifs” but reality is, you can never change your past. I am sure if we could, most of us wouldn’t. If we changed our pass we wouldn’t be the person we are today. Today we are stronger, and we have been through a lot of things, but those things taught us the values in life. So, here to my wishes, but hello to my future. Only you can make anything possible, and never second guess what you are capable of doing!

CAN, do without Chu!

Google Image 30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 16: Something or Someone you can live without.
Something I can live without or someone…

My something’s…
Drama: who needs it? Drama definitely doesn’t make my life better, and it sure as heck doesn’t make my life easier.
Sofa Drinks: high in sugar, and can cause you to be sick or worse if you already are.
Body Odor: When we sweat, how come we can’t smell good from the get go? Who likes the smell of rotten sweat? Ha-ha!
A well: as long as we have city/county water. Due to yesterday being a bad day, lightning hitting a tree (which caused our power to go out, 6 hours later they fix it), our telephone line (which is our DSL line) got snatched off the pole by the boom truck (which was the truck who fixed our power), and our well took all day to prime.

Someone I could live without…
This has to be one of the hardest questions, to say the least. Yes, it might say one or the other, but I think it is more of challenge to answer both, which always try to go the next mile.

I think I would have to say our president, at this point. I don’t really know whose side to be on, but I do see why a lot of people don’t like our president, but then again I don’t know enough about politics.

So, someone else I could live without…
I truly don’t know anyone I could live without. I have already removed most of the people who no longer need to “live” with me, within me, or in my brain. If I think I can do without them, then I just simply “delete” them from my life anyway.

If you could name something and someone you can live without, what or who would it be?

Five Question Friday

Ahhhh!! I have been slacking! Sorry my fellow friends and readers. We had some bad lightning the other night and we needed up with no power, and blah blah blah, but I will tell ya about it on Todays truth 🙂 So, Here we go.. 5QF!

1. If you knew your best friend’s spouse was cheating on her or him, would you tell her (him)?
I believe in Karma, and I don’t want to be the one breaking bad news to my friend. It is kinda like, yeah I dunno. Since my (ex) step-dad cheated on my mom and I was the one to tell my mom. I have become a let Karma do her thing, kinda person. I now feel as though if I tell my best friend about something, that the person I’m telling on might have lies good enough to not back my story, so I will just step back and watch what happens. I know, true friends tell and talk, but I already been on that fence and it tore me apart.

2. Soda in a can or a bottle?
Can!!! Something about being in a can makes it feel colder, and the taste is different 😉

3. What do you wash first, hair or body?
I wash my hair first, haha! Am I weird? oh, then I double rinse it before I get out.

4. What advice would you give to any new mama?
Sleep while you can, and if you are doing formula.. get the containers that you can have the formula already in that way you can just dump it into the bottle than shake, shake it! lol!! 🙂 and enjoy the moments while you can because the grow up so fast… or the time passes by so fast, either one.

5. What is your best hangover remedy?
Pop 2 Tylenol in the morning, and go get something to eat, with a water 🙂
