Life is hard

Sometimes in life we are dealt some hard cards. The cards that you hold in your hand for years to come, never knowing if you should get rid of them, or keep hanging on to them.

I have been dealt with a lot of cards in my life. I always come out on top, always looking at the positive instead of the negative. Can you imagine how life or your friends would be if your life is full of nothing but Negative? The sad brought on everyday, or the smart ass comments that they say 24-7. I have noticed to make your life better for yourself, you have to figure out who you are in the beginning. You have to find your inner-self before you can get rid of the cards that you are dealt.

No one ever said that this life is easy, and that you will never go through hard times, or times that you will never cry.

So, for today. Figure out what makes you happy, and sit and just relax on that thought. Let the smile come to your face, as you feel what you are thankful about, or just call a friend/family to make you laugh. Everyone needs a time in their day to smile, laugh and feel good about themselves.

 Joke for today

A young man was walking through a supermarket to pick up a few things when he noticed an old lady following him around. Thinking nothing of it, he ignored her and continued on. Finally he went to the checkout line, but she got in front of him. “Pardon me,” she said, “I’m sorry if my staring at you has made you feel uncomfortable. It’s just that you look just like my son, who just died recently.” “I’m very sorry,” replied the young man, “is there anything I can do for you?” “Yes,” she said, “As I’m leaving, can you say ‘Good bye, Mother’? It would make me feel so much better.” “Sure,” answered the young man.
As the old woman was leaving, he called out, “Goodbye, Mother!” As he stepped up to the checkout counter, he saw that his total was $127.50. “How can that be?” He asked, “I only purchased a few things!” “Your mother said that you would pay for her,” said the clerk.

Me & Hubby

I have currently been in a relationship with my hubby! We have been together since April 11, 2004. Yes, I remember the date. I know a typical woman, haha!! We started living together since May 2004, right after I graduated high school. I had my car packed and ready to go. We lived with his friends til August then we moved into my moms house. We have been in and out of different houses since, but not because we wanted to. When we had to move it was due to us needing to be closer to his work, or the house was falling apart, or something cheaper… gotta love it, eh? We got married Oct 15, 2005  I love him!! We had our daughter in 2007.

Don’t get me wrong, every marriage has its battles, but if you can get through them, you can get through anything! If you are wanting it to work, you will dig deep enough for your roots to grow. You have to stand your ground and know what you want before jumping in, otherwise you never know how deep the water is til you hit the rock on your tailbone.

My husband is my rock. He is our provider, care giver, our source maker.. and mine! He does everything he can to make us happy and I truly do love him without a doubt. He will always be where I need him to be, even if he thinks its fishing, ha! Jk.

My Mom

Who can say their mother is their best friend? Of course we have our battles, don’t see eye to eye, but she has always believed in me.

When I was growing up I was stubborn, may that came from her? We would bump heads all the time, but we would not be where we are today, if it wasn’t for those times.

My mom is an inspiration. She has showed me that you can come a long way, if you put your mind to it, you can bust down doors to find your path in this world, tear down walls to reach your goals, to stand tall in what you believe in, and hide your emotions to show self-control.

She has raised me (mostly all by herself). She was there to snuggle on the couch, drink coffee on the weekend mornings, fix homemade meals, goes to Six Flags and showed everyone she could still be a kid again.

Till this day when we are together, it is filled with laughter, and smiles. Every time we are together it is a happy occasion.

She was and still is the best mom, ever. I was there to hold my mom through the tough times, just like she was there for me when I needed her.

However, during some storms that came through us both buckled under the force, we went our separate ways, but we had to learn how to face the battle and deal with our emotions separately. This strengthened me to become the woman I am today. We all make mistakes, but she will always be my best friend and my mom.

I hope my little girl gets older to appreciate, love, and be my best friend.

I love you mom; you are the best.

Thank You

Top 5 Things I love about my mom:

1)  Drawings
2)  Smart; even when she has ADD moments (she really doesn’t have ADD)
3)  Happy
4)  Independent
5)  Funny; even her 10pm happiness makes me laugh (most people don’t know this side)

Thursday

AHhhhh.

The weather went from perfect to hot!!! This kind of weather is where you sit on the porch and sweat from doing absolutely nothing! However, it is so peaceful, hearing the birds in the air or a nearby tree limb, watching the dogs lay in the grass to take an afternoon nap and daydream about your yard being so beautiful when you finish getting it landscaped.

Thursday is thirsty for Friday, haha. I have so much planned today and hopefully I can get it done. Here is a song for Thursday

~Sending positive thoughts on this wonderful day~

Beautiful

You ever feel like you don’t give yourself enough credit? Waiting on others to tell you how beautiful you are, instead of telling yourself everyday?

I tend to do this, not meaning, too, but I do. I guess we all have our own things we do that we never think about. Being beautiful is more than your looks. You have to be beautiful on the inside before you can see yourself beautiful on the outside. Doing things everyday that make you feel good about yourself always helps me. From working out, talking to friends, and seeing someone else smile because you said something that really made them happy.

Here is a video that I love working out to! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
