Spending time with Hubby, watching football

Yesterday, I got to spend all day with my husband. We laughed, and snuggled on the couch. We watched the game as we waited patiently for our team to warm up and give it their all. It was a nerve racking game, but I have been watching football all my life.
Even needed up over at Lisa’s house. I love spending time with her, catching up with what is going on. We laugh a lot when I am over there, and I will always remember that.

Today, we craved a pumpkin with Jade when she got home. She loved it! She even made sure Daddy put eyes, and teeth.. That is important!

Wednesday, My mom and I are taking Jade back to the library for story time.. We will see how that goes!

I hope you all had a wonderful, enjoyable weekend. I hope it was filled with a lot of laughs, and memories were made.

We added another year, Happy Anniversary!

(a little bit white, but hey it’s a picture)

This week has been pretty good, and I have to say today has been amazing. My mom is keeping Jade for the night, and we got to celebrate our 6 year Anniversary.
We started the day off with dropping Jade off at my moms. After we got back to the car we had no idea what we wanted to do. Our first plans were to go to a Dirt Track Race, because that is how we met, but later figured out they didn’t have races this weekend. We ended up 40 minutes away from home where we adventured into lots of stores. We came back home with a New Alabama shirt and hubby a new Alabama hat 😀 This is exciting, well, we love football, haha! We came back home to watch the Alabama Game, which they WON! 52-7.. WOOHOO Roll Tide! 7-0 Undefeated (knock on wood).
Before the game we went to Crackel Barrel. I love that place! Their food is so good, and it is such a homey environment. After the game Hubby wanted to go to the movies, but I changed his mind.
Me: We can go to the movies any time, why not go to a haunted house?
Hubby: What am I going to get out of it? I don’t like Haunted Houses.
Me: Well, you can laugh at me!!

I could tell Hubby wanted to go see Real Steel, but he drove right past the movies and off to Ghost Town we went. I will have to say that I wasn’t scared, but I did jump at a few points, most of the stuff was predictable. Oh and plus!! There was this guy in front of us and he was like jumping back, screaming louder than I was. He had all of the group laughing, and of course, I was the only girl in the group so all the people pointed me out to “scare” me.

All in all, It has been awesome! We got to spend time together, and celebrate our Anniversary. I hope your Saturday has been a great one too!

My Neck, My Back, Oh My

For the past week. I haven’t been posting a lot. I am beginning to think I have a pinched nerve where the spinal cord meets the neck. It is swollen, however, I am going to the Doctor Oct 5th which is Wednesday!! Yaaay! Not only am I getting my neck seen about but also my weight lost. I miss all of you guys dearly, but I hope to be back soon. xoxo

My weekend was fun and very enjoyable. I even got to cut grass without getting sick. We had a lot of time just us and Jade did lovely in public. No meltdowns nor tantrums! All in All a great weekend!

OH!! and Alabama won their game on Saturday… so that’s a plus HAHA!!

I know Six Word Saturday is on Sunday. So, I am not the early bird, and I didn’t get the worm. But hey! I was having fun with family. So, back on track… My Six Word Saturday

Another great weekend with the family

Friday, we went to visit Lisa and the rest of her little family. We had such a great time. We even shot off fireworks and sat by the campfire. Pleasant day, I must say. Bray did hurt his finger, but he is all good in the neighborhood. Jade had a wonderful time. You could hear the laughter and giggles from the kids, and the guys shooting off the fireworks as the dog (Drake) tries to eat them, haha!

Saturday was filled with staying outside. I read my book, weeded out some weeds in the flowerbed, listened to the football game on the radio, and could hear Jade played with the dogs in the yard. It was really peaceful and even finished a book. After I read my book I even played with Jade. We ran around the front yard about 5x. She is such a motivator.

Sunday (today) We went to church, had pictures made, came home and I went back outside to start on a new book. Life is grand, and I don’t think it could get any better. I love being able to go outside, lay out in the sun and not worry where my child has gone, or who might be pulling up. I even got some sun on my shoulders, and my face.

Did you hear? It’s Football Season!

Hubby is home for the weekend, and College football starts today! That’s right! Here comes the panic attack, cheers, and screams you will hear from our living room! Roll Tide Roll!

What are you doing this Saturday? Not only did Football Season start but it is also Labor Day Weekend, which means I get Hubby for 3 days! WOOHOO! I bet the rest of you are liking the 3 Day weekend too!

Sunday, I am heading to church, I didn’t go last weekend.
Monday, I plan to go visit my mom. 🙂 Nothing like just getting out of the house and visiting with family.

RTR (Roll Tide Roll) I love some Alabama Football! Starts in 45 minutes!

Such A Busy Weekend With Family

Everyday this weekend was spent with family.
Saturday
I helped my mom clean out her garage since some of Jade’s things were in there, and plus every once in awhile it is good just to help out 🙂 I even helped with outside but I couldn’t do much, so I helped put a whole wheat pizza in the oven. Later that afternoon Hubby came to help us finish.
We even took a load to Hubby’s relatives to see if anything would sale in the yard sale, and I made $18 just in 4ish hours!
Sunday
We woke up early to get ready to go to a Family Reunion on my Pawpaw’s side. The last time I went to the Reunion I was pregnant with Jade, so everyone was so happy to see her. hubby took care of Jade while I visited with family. It is always great to leave with a smile on your face. Family should always be important. I can’t wait till next year.
Jade even played with one of her cousins and he told Hubby, “Please don’t take her from me, I could play with her all day!” Hubby thought that was really nice. Jade will be able to play with him again next year. They live over 2 hours away, so Family Reunions are so wonderful.

I get to fold clothes today!

I spent most of the day yesterday just washing and drying clothes. The house is a wreck since I took yesterday off to rest an awful headache from allergies. So, today is folding and putting clothes up. Only thing I wish is it didn’t take 2 hours to dry 1 load of clothes, really puts a pinch in forgetting that there is clothes in the washer. If you ever have forgotten your clothes in the washer, you have to re-wash them.. ughhh the never ending cycle.

So, off to fold clothes, if you would like to help just let me know hahaha! I am hoping to get the rest of the house cleaned to.. If you miss 1 day around here it looks like a bomb went off, especially in the kitchen. ~sigh~

Happy Saturday everyone!! Next week Hubby starts a new schedule at work: Monday through Friday, ohhh yeah! No more swing shift till he gets done with school 🙂 I am so excited!

New Medicine means 5 pound gain!

So, I was put on medicine due to having 4-5 infections since the beginning of the year. They decided to put me on another antibiotic this month (I just got through taking another antibiotic last month). I have noticed during the time I am taking medicine that I am hungry, more than normal. I started craving foods that I haven’t had in over 6 months (Hot fudge brownies, and etc). Well in the last month I have gained 5 pounds! Sucks, right? I know. The demon in my kitchen that larks beneath me as I try to shoo him away. The cravings got so bad I was “smelling” the brownies, yeah I knew I had to do something, but I don’t know how long I can go on like this.
On another hand, it is not just the brownies, but it is now the fact that I have to take this medicine when I go to bed and I am OUT for 12 hours. There is no waking up to go pee, or waking up wondering what time the clock says, or if hubby got up to go to work, OH NO… I am out… ZZZZing for 12 hours straight.

Blah! New medicine… You suck, just so you know.
My tests for my ultrasound and other things all came back fine, but I still have to take the medicine for another 3 weeks… I am really debating on calling them to “switch” my medicine… I hate feeling drowsy!

Oh, I ran out of paint.

I am beginning my living room project, but when I went on a search for my paint, so I can begin the coffee table, I had no luck finding it. I finally asked my Hubby where the paint was and he asked why. I told him I wanted to get started on painting the coffee table and he said, “Well, you are just going to have to hold on till we get more paint.”
Now I am wondering where all my paint went! We bought 2 small (32 oz) cans, and only used about 2 inches out of the 2nd can, so where did all the paint go? ~Sigh~ Looks like I will be on hold to paint till next week.

Other than that, my weekend is going great! One of my friends came by and brought her kids yesterday, while Hubby was at work. Jade had so much fun that she ran up to her daddy when he got home and started telling him all about meeting Jon Jon, Day Day, Nathan, and Levi.

Six Word Saturday

Yikes, my list keeps getting bigger.

So, I have this DIY list that just keeps adding up, and I will get around to do every one of them! I just have to get all my supplies together to do it.

1) The purse – Redneck Princess taught us how she did it. Well, I just have to pick out an old T-shirt and that is just hard, lol!!! jkk I just need to kick myself and get it done! and of course, make Jade one too!!

2) I am wanting to paint my Entertainment Center, End Table, Bookcase and Coffee table a flat (mate) black, but I am scared it will peel off. I don’t know a lot about painting, so you have to start somewhere. I want to paint them black and get silver knobs 🙂 It will really bring out a lot of things including the black picture frames I already have hanging up in the house.
First, I know I will have to sand them down, then work on what paint to use. Any ideas??

3) Sanding Jades dresser down from fire engine red, and begin painting it white 🙂 Along with her bed, so they both will match.

4) Finding a picture frame/picture to make a chalk board.. I want a crackle dark red paint as the frame to bring out the dark red in most of my pictures throughout the house. (I just need to stop being picky)

5) Making or buying a black and white picture to go over our bed in the bedroom. Getting random black and white pictures to match but smaller to go on other walls in the same room.

6) Getting my flower beds done, and buying more bark. Oh, and of course more flowers, you can’t have too many 🙂

7) Building a circle where my hosta was, so we can pour cement. We are moving our table and chair down there.

8) Making Coasters 😮 with Tile and Cardstock 🙂
