Life is like Photography

30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 29 – Something you hope to change about yourself. And why.
Be a healthier me..
Become that Super Mom…
My house to be completely clean and fabulous…
Making my Green thumb Greener…
Be an amazing Wife/Friend…
Bust out my goals, and keep creating new ones…

Change is for the better.. Coming through what I have been through, showing people you can be strong, you will survive, and that life is about living, not about suffering 🙂

Here to the ‘What Ifs’

Google Image 30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 23
– Something you wish you had done in your life

  1. Bought a house before I got married (sometimes life just bites you in the bum)
  2. Finished school before having a child (Even though I love her)
  3. Went on an adventure before settling down (traveling)
  4. Got pictures took of me and my Mawmaw before she passed away
  5. Got closer to my family, like I was when I was a kid
  6. Worked-out more

We all live and learn, and step out into the big wide world. We can all wish on the “what Ifs” but reality is, you can never change your past. I am sure if we could, most of us wouldn’t. If we changed our pass we wouldn’t be the person we are today. Today we are stronger, and we have been through a lot of things, but those things taught us the values in life. So, here to my wishes, but hello to my future. Only you can make anything possible, and never second guess what you are capable of doing!

Religion/Politics – Eeps!

Google Image 30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 19 – What do you think of religion? Or what do you think of politics?

Religion
I am a believer in God, Jesus… I am a Christian. I am a non-church goer at this time, however, I still believe.
I quit going to church a long time ago. The reason…. (sigh)
Well, I want to go find a church that isn’t about “judging”. When I was younger I was always looked at and viewed.
An example: One night my fellow boyfriend wanted to come to church with me. I thought it was really nice of him wanting to come to my church, as I usually went to his church on Wednesdays Nights. Well, Wednesday Night at my church was fun. We would have a normal class, then we could play basketball and chit-chat about things. We would joke around and have fun, kids being kids.
However, this night changed my life, forever. I went to church to show off let my boyfriend see my friends, and hang out with my church “family”. We are holding hands, talking, and laughing with the group when one of the church leaders comes up to me and wanted to talk to me “privately”. I didn’t know what it was going to be about, but I felt as though I was in the principals office and now I need to call my momma.
The Guy: What do you think you’re doing?
Me: I dunno? Having fun?
The Guy: You think this is “normal” to bring your boyfriend here?
Me: Yeah, why not?
At this point my blood is raging! I stomp over to my boyfriend, called my mom and proceed to wait for my mom to come pick us up. Boyfriend and I at this time are young, we don’t even have vehicles, which less license! I finally come to the conclusion that the Youth Director was insinuating that I was sleeping with my boyfriend. That it wasn’t normal to be dating, and that I was in the wrong. What my Youth Director didn’t know was that my boyfriend and I barely hold hands, barely talk, barely see each other, other than Movies on Friday nights, and church events during the week, because he didn’t even attend the same school as me. Well, after that I night I stopped going to church for a while. I eventually found another church, but that’s for another day.

My views on religion… Well, don’t judge someone till you have been in their shoes and you know all the facts. Don’t tell them “how” to live their life, and who is to say even though you are a pastor, teacher, director or the leader that you have a right to judge anyone? Reach out a hand when you see your love one fall, or a church member, don’t go poking a stick in their chest, it will just make them feel worse than they already do. Also, someone who believes and read their bible at home, is just as good as someone who goes to church on Sunday morning, evening or Wednesday night, or more (depends on your religion). I, however, like to sit at home and worship in peace and not have anyone judge me about why I wasn’t at church or why I didn’t wear better clothes. I have more things in this world to worry about, and I would hope you do to.

Politics
When I turn on the News or CNN I have no clue what they are even talking about! It is like a foreign language to me. I don’t even vote, I don’t pick sides, I don’t do anything but sit my tail on my couch and mind my own business.

I do, however, pay attention to the President Election. If I did vote I would vote for the person I think would make this a better place. I would vote for someone who I thought/think would make the right decisions. I don’t believe in sticking with your “democrat/liberal/or whatever” ways. I believe it should be voted on what they talk about and how they act than what side of the politic side they are one, but that is just my opinion, so please don’t blow me up, haha!

What are you views on religion or politics?

CAN, do without Chu!

Google Image 30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 16: Something or Someone you can live without.
Something I can live without or someone…

My something’s…
Drama: who needs it? Drama definitely doesn’t make my life better, and it sure as heck doesn’t make my life easier.
Sofa Drinks: high in sugar, and can cause you to be sick or worse if you already are.
Body Odor: When we sweat, how come we can’t smell good from the get go? Who likes the smell of rotten sweat? Ha-ha!
A well: as long as we have city/county water. Due to yesterday being a bad day, lightning hitting a tree (which caused our power to go out, 6 hours later they fix it), our telephone line (which is our DSL line) got snatched off the pole by the boom truck (which was the truck who fixed our power), and our well took all day to prime.

Someone I could live without…
This has to be one of the hardest questions, to say the least. Yes, it might say one or the other, but I think it is more of challenge to answer both, which always try to go the next mile.

I think I would have to say our president, at this point. I don’t really know whose side to be on, but I do see why a lot of people don’t like our president, but then again I don’t know enough about politics.

So, someone else I could live without…
I truly don’t know anyone I could live without. I have already removed most of the people who no longer need to “live” with me, within me, or in my brain. If I think I can do without them, then I just simply “delete” them from my life anyway.

If you could name something and someone you can live without, what or who would it be?

Five Question Friday

Ahhhh!! I have been slacking! Sorry my fellow friends and readers. We had some bad lightning the other night and we needed up with no power, and blah blah blah, but I will tell ya about it on Todays truth 🙂 So, Here we go.. 5QF!

1. If you knew your best friend’s spouse was cheating on her or him, would you tell her (him)?
I believe in Karma, and I don’t want to be the one breaking bad news to my friend. It is kinda like, yeah I dunno. Since my (ex) step-dad cheated on my mom and I was the one to tell my mom. I have become a let Karma do her thing, kinda person. I now feel as though if I tell my best friend about something, that the person I’m telling on might have lies good enough to not back my story, so I will just step back and watch what happens. I know, true friends tell and talk, but I already been on that fence and it tore me apart.

2. Soda in a can or a bottle?
Can!!! Something about being in a can makes it feel colder, and the taste is different 😉

3. What do you wash first, hair or body?
I wash my hair first, haha! Am I weird? oh, then I double rinse it before I get out.

4. What advice would you give to any new mama?
Sleep while you can, and if you are doing formula.. get the containers that you can have the formula already in that way you can just dump it into the bottle than shake, shake it! lol!! 🙂 and enjoy the moments while you can because the grow up so fast… or the time passes by so fast, either one.

5. What is your best hangover remedy?
Pop 2 Tylenol in the morning, and go get something to eat, with a water 🙂

Man, Spiderman

Google Image 30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

Day 14 – A hero that has let you down. (letter)

Hero–noun, plural -roes; for 5 also -ros.
1.a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities.
2.a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal: He was a local hero when he saved the drowning child.
3.the principal male character in a story, play, film, etc.

Dear Spiderman,

I would like to say thanks for all your hard work, and teaching little kids all over the world to flip their wrist and spiderweb people. It has been fantastic to get sprayed with silly string on Halloween.
Also, now when I look up to my heroes, I expect all of them to hang upside on the side of the building and send me a little smooch, too bad you have let me down in this department, because well quite frankly you got my hopes up and just blew it for my expectations of other heroes.
I hate to say it Spiderman, but it seems I have to take you off my list of heroes and find someone else who is ~coughs~ better about being a hero.
Yeah, yeah, you save lives, you swing from buildings, your silly string is quite strong, and you make your body look totally fantastic. I am now cutting ties, maybe superman can help me out 😉 who knows, right?
So, thanks again for letting me down, now my hopes and dreams are just are just crumbling before me.
Toodles
~Jenna

Compliments, Who needs ’em

Day 12 – Something you never get compliments on

I found this image on Google, and I have to agree. Why do I care when you don’t. If you don’t want to give me a compliment, then who cares!?

I guess I can name some things I never get complimented on..
my nose, height, complexion, my legs, arms, fingers, toes, and etc. 🙂 Why would anyone want to compliment on that though? If someone was to say, “I really like your nose.” I would feel as though something was wrong with my nose. Usually people compliment on what they see, right?

An occasional compliment is necessary to keep up one’s self-respect, maybe I need more self-respect.” -haha!

Reality, What!?

As you can see I am up at 2am with nothing other to do but write a post, haha! I just recently watched week 3 of Bachelorette, and is it just me or has this show got into more “scripting” guys/girls into a show? Where did the “real” part of dating in the “Real” word go?

Week 3 and this girl is already head over heels for a guy that left. He didn’t even like her to begin with, he just wanted a rose. How low is this? If I want a show to be “real” I would have got the producer, when they were filming and had this guy packed up and moved out as soon as it was said. I am just not into these shows anymore.

Another thing, Ashley’s personality, it is like she is lost? (yes, I am questioning that, because I can’t read her) She was so fun in the beginning with Brad Womack, but I don’t think she has found herself again. She just comes off as she doesn’t know what she wants in a guy, and not stable. She don’t really “flirt” with the men, she just seems to be in her own world. Am I the only one who sees that?

Bring me the Biggest Loser, at least it has sweat, and “realness” in it! Well, here is my rant of the Reality TV series, now off to bed I go!

Reasons Why I am Up so LATE
~ It is nice relaxing time without the kiddo.
~ It is peaceful when the only thing you have to worry about is yourself.
~All chores are done, so you can sit back in awe.
~Truly bored, and just watched an hour and half of “stupid” Bachelorette.

– Something people seem to compliment you the most on

  1. Eyes
  2. Weight Loss
  3. Hair
  4. Smile
  5. Personality
