Heart Palpitations

heartpalitations

Heart palpitations are a feeling that your heart is beating too hard or too fast, skipping a beat, or fluttering. You may notice heart palpitations in your chest, throat, or neck. Heart palpitations can be bothersome or frightening. They usually aren’t serious or harmful, though, and often go away on their own.

I started getting heart palpitations when everything happened with the neighbor. I don’t know if the amount of stress started it, or if it was a mix of everything. I was also in the middle of a civil rights case against my daughter’s school when everything was going on. I was also in the middle of being distant with family. I really had a lot going on and I wasn’t using my voice as I should had been.

My heart palpitations went on for almost a year before I went to get it seen about. The doctors told me that it wasn’t nothing serious and it should reside on their own, and they did! Once the case of the neighbor was dismissed it was like a weight lifted from me. Within a few months they were gone, like they never existed.

Now, a year later, I am experiencing them again. Now mind you, I did quit my exercise routine around June, and maybe that would be a factor as to why they have came back. Who knows. I just know they are completely annoying. Maybe I need to get back into some sort of something. I know I need to get back into my routine of cleaning. I guess schedules work better for me, and I will just have to bite the bullet and do it! I have to, it looks like my heart health depends on stability and for me to stick to things that work. So, let’s give this a go shall we!?

Have you ever had heart palpitations, and what helped you??

    • Definitely pay attention to it. It is such a weird feeling. The only way to completely describe it, it kinda feels like being pregnant, but it is your heart moving in your chest. It gives me a butterfly flutter feeling. Hopefully you can get it checked as well. I was on a heart monitor for 30 days with it.
